77,125 demands received through Common Service Centre and 1,32,865 through online application, with 41,606 cases accepted
HFAPoAs prepared for Chennai city and 528 Town Panchayats, with preparation in progress for 124 Municipalities and 11 Corporations
Target of DUs in 2017-18: 201,136, with 90,648 achieved
State Budgetary Provision for PMAY (U) in 2017-18: Rs.826.80 Crore
Mandatory conditions:
+ Dispensing the need for separate Non-Agricultural (NA) Permission: done
+ Prepare/amend Master Plans: earmarking land for Affordable Housing already mandatory
+ Single-window, time-bound clearance: proposal under process
+ Deemed building permission and layout approval: already accorded for EWS/LIG housing
+ Amend or legislate existing rent laws: under finalization
+ Additional Floor Area Ratio (FAR)/Floor Space Index (FSI)/Transferable Development Rights (TDR) and relaxed density norms: already achieved
