The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) requests accreditation to provide advisory services to the Committee. Founded in 2003, WFCMS aims to promote exchange and cooperation among Chinese Medicine societies, strengthen international academic exchanges, and inherit and develop Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The organization is active in China, USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, South Africa, and other countries. WFCMS has proven competence in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage through activities such as research, documentation, preservation, promotion, and transmission of TCM culture. It has published bilingual nomenclatures, hosted the World Congress of Chinese Medicine, and established specialty committees to preserve TCM culture. WFCMS has 201 member societies from 58 countries and regions, which provide TCM health services and spread TCM culture worldwide.
