Summary

A retrospective study of 64 patients who underwent laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) and subsequent 3DCT scans found correlations between clinical stenosis and 3DCT measurements. Key findings include:

Gastric volume, surface area (ASA), and distal maximal surface area (DMSA) were significantly less in patients with endoscopic findings of stenosis/reflux.
 Angularis angle (AA) and proximal maximal surface area (PMSA) were lower in patients with stenosis/reflux, but lacked statistical association.
Oesophageal diameter and length of sleeve were higher in patients with lower AA.
 Duration between LSG and 3DCT correlated with higher BMI, longer conduit length, and higher PMSA.

These results suggest that 3DCT can help predict and guide further treatment of post-LSG refractory reflux and regurgitation. The study established measurements associated with clinical stenosis on 3DCT scans, providing a valuable method for diagnosing post-sleeve gastrectomy angularis stenosis.
