Summary

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan diet hipertensi menggunakan media sosial Whatsapp terhadap pengetahuan dan efikasi diri penderita hipertensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan dan efikasi diri antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan pendidikan kesehatan diet hipertensi menggunakan media sosial Whatsapp terhadap pengetahuan dan efikasi diri penderita hipertensi. Saran yang diberikan adalah pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan Whatsapp tetap harus dikombinasikan dengan pendidikan kesehatan tatap muka secara berkelanjutan.
