Summary

Kratochvílův statek, com mais de 400 anos de história, foi sempre gerido pelos antepassados da família Kratochvíl. Inicialmente, havia um ovil no local. O statek é uma parte integrante da comunidade de Řepy. A senhora Marková, descendente e herdeira da família Kratochvíl, tem memórias tristes da época em que o statek foi nacionalizado, os cavalos e tudo o mais foram confiscados e a família não pôde mais entrar na casa. O longo "gerenciamento" do poder comunista na época fez com que o statek se deteriorasse. Felizmente, a senhora Marková viveu o suficiente para ver o statek (embora em um estado lamentável) ser devolvido a ela. Hoje, a propriedade pertence a outro dono, que a restaurou com grande sensibilidade, precisão e respeito pela história, devolvendo-a à sua forma original.
