Summary

Der Musikverein Forte wurde 1928 von Prof. Eduard Grassl gegründet und war ursprünglich eine Anlaufstelle für Lernende der Zither, Gitarre, Mandoline und Geige. Erst später kam das Akkordeon als Unterrichtsinstrument hinzu. Der Verein überstand den Nationalsozialismus und den Zweiten Weltkrieg, feierte 1953 sein 25-jähriges Bestehen und erlebte in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren eine Blütezeit. Nach dem Tod des Gründers und wechselnden Dirigenten verlor der Verein jedoch an Dynamik und drohte zu verschwinden. Eine Handvoll ehemaliger Mitglieder rettete den Verein und führte ihn zu neuer Blüte. Heute ist die Forte wieder ein lebendiger Musikverein mit einem Orchester und gibt regelmäßig Konzerte. 2018 feierte der Verein sein 90-jähriges Bestehen.
