The new SCCs consist of four modules for different transfer scenarios and require parties to assess the legality of the transfer and implement supplementary measures if necessary. Electronic signatures are sufficient, and existing contracts with previous SCCs need to be adjusted. Multiple modules can be agreed between the same parties, and the choice of law and jurisdiction should be carefully considered.
