Baseball Sask is accepting nominations for its 2019 Annual Awards in various categories, including Player of the Year, Minor Player of the Year, Official of the Year, and more. Nominations can be submitted electronically to the Baseball Sask office in Regina until September 27th. The awards recognize individuals and teams for their dedication, leadership, and contributions to baseball in Saskatchewan. Categories include:

Player of the Year (Midget and above)
Minor Player of the Year (Bantam and under)
Official of the Year (registered umpire 18 years and older)
Lou Slotsve Junior Official of the Year (registered umpire under 18 years old)
Builder of the Year (individual who has contributed to developing and structuring baseball teams/leagues)
Patron/Sponsor of the Year (organization that has supported baseball in the community)
Manager/Coach of the Year (all coaches)
Grass Roots Coach of the Year (coaches who have never coached at an elite level)
Senior Team of the Year (Midget and older)
Minor Team of the Year (Mosquito to Bantam)
Joe McDonald Special Award of Merit (individual who has supported Baseball Sask for less than 10 years)
Lifetime Achievement Award (individual who has been involved with Baseball Sask for at least 10 years)

Nominations should include a short resume of achievements and any other relevant information. Finalists will be contacted by October 10th and invited to the Awards Banquet, where the winners will receive two complimentary tickets.
