Summary

The AMILINE Optima casing is a multilayer barrier casing made of polyamide, polyolefin, and adhesive, used for producing cooked sausages, ham products, blood and liver sausages, and other food products. It has mechanical strength, heat-shrinkage, low permeability to oxygen and water vapor, and physiological safety. The casing is available in various calibers and colors, and can be used for double-sided UV printing. It should be stored in dry and clean rooms, and transported at temperatures not exceeding 40°C. Before use, the casing must be pre-soaked in potable water to impart elasticity and ensure uniform filling. The recommended shelf life for cooked and semidry sausages made in the AMILINE Optima casing is not more than 60 days at a temperature from 0 to 6°C, and relative humidity of the air not more than 75-78%.
