Surveil herbicide can be applied preplant burndown (fall or spring), prior to planting or preemergence at a rate range of 2.8-4.2 oz/A to provide foundation broadleaf weed control in soybeans. Preemergence applications of Surveil must be made within 3 days after planting and prior to soybean emergence.

Do not apply more than 4.2 oz of Surveil per acre per year. Do not perform any tillage operation after application or residual weed control will be reduced. Do not tank-mix Surveil with Group 15 herbicides, such as acetochlor, alachlor, flufenacet, metolachlor, dimethenamid-P, or pyroxasulfone, within 14 days of planting soybeans, unless soybeans are planted under no till or minimum tillage conditions on wheat stubble or no till field corn stubble. Do not irrigate when soybeans are cracking.

Table 1 lists broadleaf weeds controlled by residual activity of Surveil in soybeans.
Carpetweed, Chickweeds, Mouseear, Dandelion, Eclipta, Evening primrose, Cutleaf, Florida Pusley, Hemp Sesbania, Henbit, Jimsonweed, Kochia, Lambsquarters, Little Mallow, Marestail/Horseweed, Morningglories, Mustard, Wild, Nightshades, Pigweeds, Red/Scarlet, Tall, Wild Poinsettia are controlled by Surveil.

Table 2 lists weeds suppressed by residual activity of Surveil in soybeans.
Barnyardgrass, Crabgrass, Foxtail, Goosegrass, Lovegrass, Panicums, Signalgrass, Broadleaf are suppressed by Surveil.
