They are divided into two chambers: A (3.237 g) from the first touchdown sampling at Ryugu's equatorial ridge and C (2.025 g) from the second touchdown near an artificial crater.

- Future Research: The samples will be further analyzed by nominated teams worldwide to gain a deeper understanding of Ryugu's composition, origin, and evolution within the Solar System.
