Summary

A class of discrete-time nonlinear positive time-delay switched systems with sector-type nonlinearities is studied. Sufficient conditions for the existence of common and switched diagonal Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals are derived, expressed as feasibility conditions for systems of linear algebraic inequalities. The approaches can be applied to discrete-time models of digital filters and neural networks. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the theoretical results. The main contributions include less conservative conditions for the existence of common diagonal L-K functionals, constructive conditions for the existence of common and switched L-K functionals, and an extension of previous results to nonlinear switched positive systems with delay.
