Summary

Three monogenean trematod species (Dactylogyrus extensus, Dactylogyrus minutus, and Eudiplozoon nipponicum) were found in carp from Lake Dojran, Macedonia, with a total prevalence of 64.0% and average intensity of infestation of 2.17. These parasites have a significant impact on the health and condition of the carp, and their presence is a new record for the parasite fauna of fish from Lake Dojran and Macedonia.
