It outperforms other UHPLC columns in terms of the relationship between back pressure and theoretical plate number (Fig. 12).
- High Durability: Packed under high pressure, L-column2 ODS, 2μm withstands high pressures during use and remains stable under pressure fluctuations. Using the L-column pre-column filter further enhances durability by preventing insoluble elements from entering the column (Fig. 13).
- Low Adsorption: With advanced end-capping, L-column2 ODS, 2μm exhibits very low absorption, enabling highly accurate ultra-high-speed analyses. It demonstrates low adsorption with a tailing coefficient of 1.2 and minimal difference in retention times for basic and neutral compounds (Fig. 14).
- Ideal for UHPLC: L-column2 ODS, 2μm is an ideal 2-μm particle column for UHPLC due to its low pressure, high durability, and high theoretical plate number across various mobile phase flow rates.
- Analytical Conditions: Column: 2.1×50 mm or 2.0×50 mm (C18), Mobile phase: CH3CN/H2O (50/50), Flow rate: 0.6 mL/min, Temp.: 25 ºC, Detection: UV 254 nm, Inj.vol.: 0.5 μL.
