Summary

A heterogeneity measurement for PolSAR data is proposed based on distance measures, utilizing the similarity between samples and pixels, and considering the influence of distribution and texture modeling. The Wishart and K distance measures are calculated between the average matrix and pixels, and the ratio of standard deviation to mean is established to reflect scene complexity. The proposed method integrates two features using the Pauli basis and is demonstrated to be effective in detecting scene heterogeneity through experiments on single-look and multilook PolSAR data.
