Summary

Quantized conductance behavior is observed in an atomic switch using a triptycene-based polymer, with the thickness of the polymer film affecting the resistive switching behavior. A 45 nm thick film is found to be most suitable for realizing quantized conductance. The switch exhibits stable resistive switching under vacuum conditions, unlike polyethylene oxide-based switches. Quantized conductance states of nearly 1G0 are observed repeatedly, and a higher quantized conductance state can be achieved by increasing the stop voltage. A cross-point structured Ag/TBAP/Pt device also exhibits resistive switching behavior, with a forming voltage of 0.52 V and subsequent SET and RESET operations.
