The article examines the influence of saw blade angular geometry and technological factors on surface roughness in cross-cutting solid beechwood. The experiment used three saw blades with varying rake angles (15°, 20°, 25°), feed rates (4, 8, 12 m/min), and machine speeds (2000, 2500, 3000 min^-1). The results showed that surface roughness, measured by the arithmetic mean deviation of the roughness profile (Ra), ranged from 15 to 29 μm. Each saw blade was suitable for a specific combination of machine speed and feed rate. The study aimed to evaluate the change in surface roughness during cross-cutting of beechwood samples, considering the effects of saw blade angular geometry, machine speed, and feed rate.
