Summary

The Pirulavuoren Näkötorni, a 15-meter tall tower, offers a panoramic view of the lake chain between Suodenniemi and Lavian, including Palojärvi, Miekkajärvi, and Lavijärvi. From the top, there's a 62-meter drop to Palojärvi, and 103 meters to its bottom, with an elevation of 112.5 meters above sea level. The landscape is depicted on the reverse of Finland's Euro coin by sculptor Pertti Mäkinen. The tower was completed in summer 2012 by 24 members of Lions Club Suodenniemi. The tower's height above Palojärvi is 62 meters, and its base is 103 meters below the surface. The tower was built by Lions Club Suodenniemi in 2012.
