- 070 = REAR
- 071 = DAKY
- 072 = USB
2. Set up the FT991 buttons:
- NAR/WIDE to WIDE
- AGC = AUTO
- RF POWER = max drive power
- DT GAIN = adjust to affect the ALC
3. Set NOTCH, CONT, DNR, and DNF to off, SHIFT = 0Hz, and WIDTH = 3000.
4. Reserve a band stack register for digital modes on each band.
5. Install the USB drivers from the Yaesu website and connect the FT991 to the computer.
6. Open WSJT-X, go to File/Settings, and enable the VHF/UHF/Microwave features.
7. Set the CAT control com port to the enhanced port number and test the CAT radio and PTT.
