Summary

- Vulnerability: Xerox MicroServer Web Server has a memory corruption vulnerability that can cause a denial of service (DoS) attack. An attacker can exploit this by using a specially crafted URL to force the web server to restart, potentially leading to continuous reboots and network disruption.

- Affected Products:
- WorkCentre (all models)
- WorkCentre Pro (35/45/55, 32/40 Color)

- Solution: A patch is available to fix the HTTP memory issue. The patch is provided as a 2.3 MB zip file (HTTP Memory P10-WCPAll.tgz) and can be downloaded from [http://www.xerox.com/downloads/usa/en/c/certXRX04Dpatch.zip](http://www.xerox.com/downloads/usa/en/c/certXRX04Dpatch.zip).

- Installation:
- Confirm the Network Controller software version.
- Download and extract the patch, but do not open the .tgz file.
- Install the patch using either the LPR method (via command line) or the Machine Software (Upgrade) method (via web interface).
