Berdasarkan penelitian, ditemukan persamaan regresi linier sederhana: Y = 10,397 + 0,090X1 + 0,092X2 + e. Dari persamaan tersebut, diketahui bahwa audit operasional dan penjualan mempengaruhi laba operasional perusahaan sebesar 55,1%. Saran yang diberikan antara lain: meningkatkan sistem audit operasional, memperluas pangsa pasarnya, membuat perencanaan penjualan yang lebih matang, dan lebih selektif dalam memilih auditor internal dan staff bagian penjualan. Penelitian yang akan datang diharapkan dapat menambahkan variabel lain dan lebih spesifik berkaitan dengan area dari audit operasional.
