Summary

Stockport Grammar School has a complaints procedure with three stages:
1) Informal resolution, where parents contact their child's Head of Year or the Head of the Junior School to resolve the issue,
2) Formal resolution, where parents put their complaint in writing to the Head, who will investigate and respond within seven working days,
3) Appeals Committee hearing, where parents can appeal the Head's decision to a tribunal, which will review the case and provide a written response within ten working days.
The school keeps a record of all complaints and ensures confidentiality, and parents can also refer their complaint to Ofsted or the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
