Purpose: This bulletin provides essential information regarding the use of Goal 2XL herbicide for weed control in fallow beds destined for these crops.

- Weed Control: Effective against winter annual broadleaf weeds like henbit, lady's thumb, smartweed, mustard species, amaranth, pigweed, waterhemp, and sida. A tank mix with glyphosate, 2,4-D, glufosinate, dicamba, or paraquat enhances post-emergence activity.

- Application Rates:
- Solo: 1-2 pints (0.25-0.5 lb active) per acre for up to 4 weeks pre-emergence and up to 6-leaf stage post-emergence control.

- Application Methods: Broadcast application with ground or aerial equipment (minimum 15 gallons/acre; 10 gallons/acre for glyphosate tank mixes).
