Summary

The school district prohibits harassment, intimidation, or bullying of students based on various characteristics, including race, sex, sexual orientation, gender, and disability. The district will not tolerate conduct that affects education, interferes with educational performance, or creates a hostile environment. Examples of prohibited conduct include name-calling, stalking, and sexual violence. Students are encouraged to report incidents to the Nondiscrimination Coordinator, Building Principal, or other employees. Reports will be processed according to the Uniform Grievance Procedure or Title IX Sexual Harassment Grievance Procedure. The district will investigate and take disciplinary action against employees, students, or third parties who engage in prohibited conduct. Retaliation against individuals who report harassment is also prohibited.
