Summary

I was abused by someone in the Church, and after speaking out, I need to know what happens next and have some control. Possible actions for the accused include police investigation, social services enquiries, disciplinary action, and referral to DBS. The Church will provide support, including counselling, and signpost to organisations that can help. A Safeguarding Co-ordinator will keep me informed throughout the investigations, and I can contact them for support. The Church apologises for the abuse and is committed to a zero-tolerance approach, with a policy to carefully manage those with roles in the Church who are subjects of allegations of abuse.
