Summary

Theoretical Computer Science Department, Jagiellonian University, considers task scheduling with two types of constraints, modelled by the on-line game "Mr. Paint and Mrs. Correct". This thesis examines the computational complexity of decision problems concerning good scheduling strategies, showing they are NP-hard, and investigates scheduling tasks in a prescribed constant fraction of rounds, finding the fraction is the same in on-line and off-line cases but with differences in asymptotic limits.
