Summary

This thesis examines the social economic life of the society around the industrial estate in Cimareme from 1997-2015. The study found that before the development of the industrial estate, the society in Ngamprah and Padalarang districts was agrarian. The growth of the industrial estate led to a shift from an agrarian to an industrial society, impacting the community's livelihood, income, and welfare. Job and business opportunities increased, and advanced facilities and infrastructure attracted migrants to the area.
