Summary

The study analyzed the effect of seed protectants and spraying with insecticide on photosynthetic activity and yield of hemp plants. The results showed that using certain seed protectants increased air-dry weight of plants by 8-20% and net photosynthesis productivity by 6.24-6.30 g/m2 per day. The use of tank mixtures of preparations also increased yield of stems by 27.7-28.8% and seed yield by 12-24% compared to the control. The study concluded that the use of means of protection improved phytosanitary situation in crops and contributed to preservation of leaf apparatus, providing further increase in plant yield.
